Walking with others

Nine-year-old Ben Smith was worried about his dad. Most days, Brad Smith, who is legally blind due to a genetic disease, has to cross a busy intersection on his way to pick Ben up from school. This weighed on Ben because the crosswalk didn’t have an audible signal for the visually impaired. But thanks to the help of a Creighton alumna, the walk signal is now on. Read more.

Field of tweens

On a July afternoon many years ago, the Jonas Brothers arrived at the Creighton Sports Complex to play a secret game of softball. Yet word spread quickly, and before long a crowd of screaming tweens had descended on campus. We recounted the details of this very important day in Creighton history. Read more.

Caring for campus

In the late ’50s, Maureen and John Mulhall, HON’97, founded the iconic Omaha landscaping and gardening business Mulhall’s Nursery, while John was also working full-time as the University's groundskeeper. Now, the Mulhall family’s legacy of beautifying campus carries on. Read more.

Diagnoses in 3D

At Creighton’s Phoenix campus, a group of medical students are creating 3D-printed models of individual patients’ anatomy that physicians can use to plan and prepare treatment. Read more.
