Emmy Hughes Chosen for ARCS Scholar Award
|
Emmy Hughes, a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech has been selected as a recipient of the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Scholar Foundation award. Hughes, who specializes in planetary science, will join 11 returning scholars from Tech who were previously recognized by ARCS as outstanding doctoral students.

Funding Opportunity: Innovation in Buildings (IBUILD) Graduate Research Fellowship
|
Apply to the Innovation in Buildings (IBUILD) Graduate Research Fellowship to advance your graduate research. IBuild Fellows receive research and educational support to conduct innovative research at your home institution in an area with demonstrated relevance to building energy efficiency. Fellows receive a competitive stipend of $35,000, an allowance to offset the costs of health insurance up to $16,000, research travel and materials up to $12,000, and limited tuition allowance up to $25,000.
There will be an information session that will be hosted on October 10th, 2023 at 1:00pm EST.

| Wellness Opportunity: Free HIV Testing at the Wellness Empowerment Center

The Wellness Empowerment Center provides free HIV Testing for students, faculty, and staff in partnership with local community partners. Testing is performed using the INSTI® test which gives results in 60 seconds.
Come and get tested and learn about healthy relationships, safer sex, and the importance of making testing a part of your regular healthcare routine!
