| Dear Travelers:
A wise man (or four of them, actually) once said that “All you need is love,” which in this month of candy hearts and valentines is excellent advice. I would, however, recommend that the starry-eyed sweethearts of Transylvania County might also need a jacket for their romantic strolls and lovers’ leaps through the forest. It’s still pretty chilly out there, this time of year. Did Cupid set his aim on your heart? Have you found the love of your life? Do you think you might have a crush on mountain biking? Good news. From Brevard’s charming historic downtown to the surrounding acres of stunning peaks and lush forests, Transylvania County has pretty much got you covered on sweet spots. So if you’re looking for where to woo your one true love, look no further. We’ve got a little of everything and a couple of other local holidays to celebrate if you’re down on hearts and flowers. As for myself, I’m looking for a Valentine that likes mountain bikes and music, art, fly-fishing, white squirrels and waterfalls. Will you be mine?
