Ledgers 4-H Club Volunteers at Just Imagine
Ledgers 4-H Club volunteers once a month at Just Imagine Horse Farm. This is a non-profit farm that helps youth improve their social/emotional health, confidence, and work ethic. We help throw down hay, clean stalls, feed the animals, clean the barn, and stack bedding.

| Adult Leaders Association UpdatesThanks to adult leaders who volunteered to stuff envelopes for the Friends of 4-H Campaign after the Adult Leaders Meeting.
The Adult Leaders Association would like to congratulate newly elected Adult Leaders Reps: Cindy Holzman, District 3 Rep - Green Valley, and Betsy Vossekuil, District 5 Rep - Armstrong.
Watch for an upcoming ceramic project workshop in January. The Adult Leaders are in the final stages of planning, so watch for more details to come. This will be an opportunity for youth to complete a ceramic project or get a good start on one. Thanks to the Adult Leaders for sponsoring a portion of this workshop to lower the cost for youth participants.

Officer Training - Saturday, December 7Participants will learn the responsibilities of their officer positions, so it is important that all officers attend. Officers will also meet other 4-H members throughout the county. This will give them a chance to exchange ideas and build new relationships. Youth do not have to be incoming club officers to attend the training. Spread the word and invite your friends!
All participants must RSVP by Monday, November 25. If we don’t have a minimum of 20 youth signed up, we will cancel the event. A pizza lunch will be served at the end of the training.

Family Learning Day Proposals 2025Family Learning Day cannot happen without youth and adults volunteering to lead sessions! We are seeking Family Learning Day presenters. Please consider this opportunity as many of the youth look forward to this day of learning! This is a great opportunity to try teaching a session! You can submit the form electronically here https://go.wisc.edu/2025familylearningdaypresenter or we can mail you a form to complete. You will receive notice of the number of participants in your session approximately 2 weeks prior to the event. Fond du Lac County 4-H Adult Leaders Association will provide lunch for presenters who request it on the registration form. Questions: Contact Extension Fond du Lac County at 920-906-4623.
Family Learning Day is an opportunity for 4-H members (grades 5K-13) to learn a new skill or work on a project. We are working on building out some more sessions to be offered during Family Learning Day on Saturday, Feb 22. Youth and adults can lead sessions. Please help make this day a success by volunteering to teach a session or two. If you need help with your session, invite another person to co-teach with you. The program is held at Fond du Lac County Campus (FCC) formerly the UW-Oshkosh Fond du Lac Campus. Sessions 1 and 5 are 60 minutes, Sessions 3 and 4 are 45 minutes, and Session 2 is 90 minutes. Indicate the length and time of day that fits your needs. You may repeat your session if you wish. Registration for this event goes out at the end of December/beginning of January.
Examples of previous sessions vary from woodworking, arts & crafts, basketball basic drills, photography basics, simple recipes, mindfulness, Livestock Skillathon, and so much more! Please share your talents or skills with youth who might have the same interests!
