Back to School is right around the corner and NOW is the time to register for St. Michael's Fall Athletics, After-School Enrichment Classes, Music Lessons, and Middle School Fall Season Extended Day.

Registration CLOSES on August 16.

St. Michael's is also implementing a new system for K-8 Extended Day Drop-ins. Information on all of these programs is below.

Fall Athletics and After-School Enrichment (ASE) Program Registration

St. Michael’s believes that important learning happens outside the classroom with purposeful exposure to a broad variety of activities and experiences. After-School Enrichment (ASE) and Athletics programs provide opportunities for students to explore a variety of interests and develop new passions.

The following sports and extracurriculars will be offered this fall: (grade levels in parens)

LOWER SCHOOL (Grades K-5)

Mondays, Grades K-2

Scratch Jr. with CodeVA (3-4:00 p.m.)
Mixed Media Art with ArtHaus Visual Arts Studio (3-4:30 p.m.)

Fridays, Grades 3-5

Intramural Soccer (3-4:15 p.m.)
Intramural Field Hockey (3-4:15 p.m.)

Note: The pared-down list of Lower School fall enrichment offerings is due to staffing constraints. We hope to be back with a full menu this Winter.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (Grades 6-8)

Co-Ed Soccer
Co-Ed Cross Country
Co-Ed Mountain Biking
Girls' Field Hockey
Girls' Tennis

ALL SCHOOL (Grades K-8)

Music Lessons Registration

NOTE: As individual lessons need to be scheduled, MUSIC LESSON registration will be conducted directly through the Greater Richmond School of Music via the link below.

Options include lessons for Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, Banjo, Bass Guitar, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone and Trumpet.

Middle School Extended Day Program Registration

Due to the vast extracurricular offerings at the Middle School (e.g., athletics, theater, etc.), enrollment in the Middle School Core Extended Day program is done seasonally (fall, winter, spring) rather than annually. We offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day care options.

Pick-Up Locations: Middle School pick-up until 4:30 p.m. takes place in the Allen Library in Singleton Hall. Pick-up AFTER 4:30 p.m. takes place in Hubbard Hall. Parents must walk inside to pick up students and sign out with the staff members on duty.

Extended Day Drop-ins

Need care only occasionally? Families in need of a single Extended Day from time to time may take advantage of a daily drop-in rate of $23 from 3-4:30 p.m. or $39 to 6 p.m.

New this year: no delayed billing! Book your days and pay on the spot.

Important Note: There will be NO REFUND for days booked and not used. If advance notice is given, we can credit your Active account for use on a future purchase.
