|
Georgia Tech’s Office of Graduate Education is seeking motivated graduate students to work as Group Leaders and Community Engagement Leaders for the Office of Graduate Education’s GT6000 program from June 2025 through October 2025. This is an outstanding opportunity for any graduate student looking to diversify their resume and add leadership experience.GT6000 is offered as a one-credit hour, pass-fail course that runs during the first eight weeks of the fall semester. Groups will meet once per week August 18 – October 10 for the fall 2025 offering of GT6000. Applications close on Friday, March 14, 2025.

NEH Fellowships are competitive awards granted to individual scholars pursuing projects that embody exceptional research, rigorous analysis, and clear writing. Applications must clearly articulate a project’s value to humanities scholars, general audiences, or both. NEH invites research applications from scholars in all disciplines, and it encourages submissions from independent scholars and junior scholars.

NSF Strengthening American Infrastructure: Deadline: April 17
|
This NSF solicitation offers support for research projects that will bring together experts from one or more of the social, behavioral and economic (SBE) science disciplines with experts across other scientific and engineering disciplines to support substantial and potentially pathbreaking and use-inspired fundamental research that will help to strengthen American infrastructure. Proposals must bring deep leadership expertise in at least one SBE program area, and provide details on how such SBE disciplinary expertise and leadership will contribute to strengthening American infrastructure. Proposals must also bring relevant expertise in the focal infrastructure itself.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day 2025
|
On Tuesday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stamps Health Services will host the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at the John Lewis Student Center (first floor). Take Back Day offers free and anonymous disposal of unneeded medications that are old, unwanted, or expired.
Stamps will collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs. We will also be collecting sharps such as syringes and needles at this collection event only. Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in their original container. The cap must be tightly sealed to prevent leakage.

Seeking graduate students to participate in the National College Health Assessment (NCHA), which is sponsored and distributed by the American College Health Association (ACHA). This nationally recognized research survey assists universities in collecting precise data about students’ health habits, behaviors, and perceptions.All students can enter a drawing to win a $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble at Georgia Tech by filling out this form. Students who have already filled out the survey are automatically entered into the drawing.

Attend the Next International Student Social

Looking for connection at Georgia Tech? Every Tuesday, all students are invited to attend International Student Social from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Graduate Living Center Activity Room. International students and their families are welcome, as well as all students who are interested in meeting new people and adjusting to life at Georgia Tech.
