Public Service Weekend  Advances Interests in Policy Careers
The Trachtenberg School (TSPPPA) and the Elliott School of International Affairs (ESIA) jointly hosted an interactive, virtual conference to highlight public service careers and help undergraduates from the U.S., Indonesia, Uganda and France network and learn from experts. TSPPPA Professor Elizabeth Rigby served as faculty advisor for the annual event and was joined by Professor Jennifer Brinkerhoff, who holds positions in ESIA and TSPPPA. Guided by Brinkerhoff and Rigby, participants developed actionable policy briefs and recommendations. MPP '21 alumna Jamie Pascal, Director of Civic Innovation Policy at Chamber of Progress, and current graduate students Georgie Pierre (MPA), Terran Potter (MPA) and Evan Linett (MPP) participated in panels involving careers in public service, financing graduate education, and public policy leadership.
