Welcome, Hamlet cast!
We were wowed by the talent of the people who came to our Hamlet auditions this past weekend (and director Tony Rust spent a sleepless night making the very tough casting decisions!) We send our thanks and applause to everyone who gave this a try and our congratulations to our newest cast. Mark your calendars now for what promises to be a memorable show.

On stage is the place to be this weekend as we get ready for our upcoming production of Scapino! Come be part of the fun as we give color to our Naples dockside cafe. No prior experience necessary and painters of all skill levels are welcome. Just show up in your painting clothes and we'll hand you a brush!
Set work parties this weekend: Saturday 5/28 and Sunday 5/29 starting at 10:30 am. Enter through the shop door on the side of the theatre.

There are just two spots left in SKIT Camp!
We're just a month away from the start of our fun-filled summer camp season — and we only have room for two more young actors. SKIT Camp, a half-day theatre camp for beginning performers ages 5 to 8, has just two openings left. (Our Melodrama Camp for actors ages 9 to 14 is already completely full for this summer.)

SKIT Camp: June 20 - 24, 2016 /  9:00 to 11:30 am

A Chorus Line
On stage October 7 - 30
Save the date (and start stretching!)
Calling all dancers: Mark your calendar now for an audition you won't want to miss!

Saturday, July 23 at 6:00 pm
Sunday, July 24 at 1:00 pm

Directed by Lanny Mitchell

P.S. Even though the original Broadway show featured only "twentysomething" dancers, we are happy to consider a broader age range of dancers for our production. So even if you're old enough to remember the original production from the seventies, don't write yourself off. We'll need lots of folks for the opening "I Hope I Get It" sequence . . . so come give it a try.  (And come because, if for no other reason, the auditions will be a blast!)
We're 75% of the way to our goal!
We kicked off our 2016 Annual Fund drive with Annie Get Your Gun  last month and thanks to a great many of you, we have already raised 75% of our $50,000 goal!
To all of you wonderful people who have contributed already, we say "Bravissima!" And if you haven't yet given but would like to keep local community theatre thriving by making your gift today, we say "Evviva!" (That's Italian for "Hooray!" — Note: everything around here is turning Italian as we get ready for Scapino!)
You can mail your contribution to Cottage Theatre, 700 Village Drive, Cottage Grove, OR 97424.  Or you can give online and save a stamp. Whichever way you give, and whatever amount you give, know that you're helping to keep the magic alive on our stage.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of our 2016 sponsors . . .
. . . and our hundreds of individual donors. Thank you!  541-942-8001  Box Office: Wednesday - Friday, 10 am to 2 pm
