The faculty activity pay structure has been redesigned, effective Sept. 1. Updates include clearer guidelines for allowable uses, standardized pay categories and a new, simplified submission process via Workday.

Beginning Aug. 31, HR will partner with campus stakeholders to manage positions in Workday and streamline approvals for new, non-budgeted positions.

Supervisors should schedule mid-year reviews in October to check in with team members. This is also a good time to review your goals in Workday and make changes if needed.
- Have you updated your CMU ID card? Pittsburgh faculty and staff should exchange their current card for a new one at a walk-in session in the CUC through Sept. 28.
