More than 125 students, faculty and staff recently came together to give back to the tri-county area by performing volunteer work at a variety of non-profits, churches and community centers as part of Clemson University's annual Fall In Day of Service.

Sarah Stokowski, associate professor of athletic leadership in the College of Education and faculty fellow of the Robert H. Brooks Sports Science Institute, has been awarded a 2025 ESPN Research Fellowship by the UNLV International Gaming Institute. Stokowski’s research will work to understand how college students engage with sports betting content online.

After experiencing personal loss and professional challenges, Rachel Anderson found healing and growth through CU Grow — a professional development initiative built on mentorship, growth and leadership. Now serving as both a mentor and director of peer learning support programs at the Academic Success Center, she embodies CU Grow’s spirit of strength and resilience.
