Dragons, the countdown to Magic Dragon Day (May 3) has begun, and SPIRIT WEEK is April 28-May 2! Show your St M SPIRIT and guide the missing DRAGON EGG home!
- No need to buy anything. Be creative with what you have!
- You can even print and make your own superhero mask HERE!
- No full-face masks, please
- All clothing must be able to be worn easily all day

Countdown to Magic Dragon Day
The BIG day is almost here! We're looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, May 3, for Magic Dragon Day!
Here are a few "need to know" items to make the most of the day:
- Event hours: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Pre-purchased t-shirts, tickets & wristbands will be sent home on Wednesday, April 30. The ticket booth opens on the day of the event at 10 a.m.
- PLEASE BRING CASH for extra tickets, wristbands, and concessions.
Schedule:
- The traditional Maypole dance is at 9:30 a.m.
- Field Games will begin on the athletic field immediately after the Maypole dance. Grades 1-5 go first with the Middle Schoolers cheering, followed by the kindergarten and Middle School field game competitions.
- Booths, games, and concessions open at 11 a.m.
- Alumni Tug of War at 11 a.m.
- The Middle School Rock Band performs at 12:30 p.m.
- Concession Stand – Hot Dogs, Chips, Cotton Candy, Snow Cones, and Drinks (Please bring cash. Tickets may also be used.)
- Booths, games, and concessions close at 1 p.m. and clean-up begins.

Dragons and Squirrels Together!
Exciting News! THIS Wednesday, April 30, our Middle School Choir will be singing the National Anthem at the 6:30 p.m. kickoff of the Richmond Flying Squirrels Baseball Game! First pitch is right after. Let's show our DRAGON PRIDE by wearing school spiritwear/colors, attending the game, and cheering for our amazing St M Choir!
The Squirrels are offering special $10 tickets at the link below. St. Michael's Episcopal School will be gathering in the gold-backed seats in Section 205. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. See you there!

Lower Schoolers, Book It Into Summer!
All Lower School students are invited to participate in the 'Book it into Summer!' reading raffle, for a chance to win fabulous prizes just for reading and tracking their reading time. Students were sent home with a paper copy of the 'Book it into Summer' log. Click HERE for extra copies and program details!

For the health and safety of all of our students, faculty, and staff, thank you for informing St. Michael’s if your child is ill and/or has a suspected contagious illness.
Upon receipt of this information, Nurse Maben, St M's school nurse, will contact the family. Please keep your child(ren) AT HOME until contacted by Nurse Maben.
