The Center for Career and Professional Development invites faculty and staff to the Spring Career Fair, scheduled for February 16-19 in Littlejohn Coliseum, to join team members from 10-11 a.m. each day for a special networking session to further strengthen academic-industry partnerships.
- The fair features representatives from a wide range of organizations offering students internship and full-time job opportunities.

Associate professor of English David Coombs has been appointed new director of the Humanities Hub, which advances the outreach, scholarly and teaching activities of the humanities on campus and beyond. Coombs will succeed James Burns, who has accepted the post of Kathryn and Calhoun Lemon Professor of History.
- Yashvi Patel, a senior double majoring in biochemistry and psychology, completed a clinical research internship this past summer at the Mayo Clinic, where she helped analyze data patterns related to stroke treatment.
