Good morning! The annual First Friday Parade takes place this Friday. The South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Program hosts a free community legal clinic at the Littlejohn Community Center next week; Six Clemson Cooperative Extension professionals earned national recognition.

What to know today:

The annual First Friday Parade takes place this Friday at 6 p.m. Road closures at all intersections between Cherry Road and the lower intramural fields begin at 5:45 p.m. Williamson Road will also be blocked.

In conjunction with the South Carolina Supreme Court’s visit to Clemson, the South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Program will host a free community legal clinic at the Littlejohn Community Center on September 15. The event is open to all community members, including Clemson faculty and staff.

September is National Preparedness Month: a reminder to everyone that preparing for emergencies and disasters can keep ourselves, our families and our communities safe.

Six Clemson Cooperative Extension professionals recently earned national recognition from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents, receiving honors for professional achievement, service, educational programming and communications.
