Fashion Revue

This year's 4-H Fashion Review brought together the counties of Winnebago, Fond du Lac, Dodge, Calumet, Manitowoc, and Washington in the planning and participation of the clothing project youth on June 13 at UWO Fond du Lac Campus. Eleven youth from throughout these counties participated by modeling their own sewn garments and  purchases they made under the Consumer Savvy category. All youth K5-13th grade are eligible to participate. The purpose of the Fashion Review is for participants to increase self-confidence and learn how to model garments that they create and accessorize.
Golden Thread Awards for the evening were presented to Bethany T. from Watertown Badgers 4-H Club in  Dodge County and Gabby H. from White Cedars Club in Winnebago County. The Consumer Savvy Best of Show award went to Lucy W. for her denim jegging and blouse set that she purchased within a small budget.  Lucy is a member of 4-H Friends in Winnebago. The Sewn Garment Best of Show went to Emily H. for her beautiful blue satin dress. Emily is from the Golden Oak 4-H Club of Winnebago as well.
