Greater Washington Forum on Israeli Arab Issues
With COVID-19 infection rates rising dramatically in recent weeks, Israel implemented a three-week nation-wide lockdown over the High Holidays. In contrast to the first wave, when the number of cases in Arab society remained relatively low, Arab communities now account for 75% of Israel’s "red zones." Learn how Arab medical professionals and community leaders are working to flatten the curve in the face of deepening social and economic strains.

Federation is pleased to present a list of local synagogues and Jewish organizations offering food and other donation opportunities. Explore what our community has to offer, and find the opportunity that works best for you.

Help Needed Delivering Fresh Produce
Groceries are harder to come by now with new transportation obstacles and so many families struggling economically, but you can make a difference. A Wider Circle, in partnership with the Capital Area Food Bank, are looking for volunteers to deliver fresh produce to our neighbors in Southeast DC hardest hit by the pandemic. Two people per car are required for this activity.
