| | Condemning Antisemitism in All Forms
Last week, we witnessed a local effort to vilify, blame, and exclude the Jewish community from participating in civic life based on their support of Israel. Though the DC chapter of the Sunrise Movement has since apologized for fueling antisemitism, we must emphasize what our CEO, Gil Preuss, noted on Friday. “These positions set a dangerous precedent. On this and any instance of antisemitism, we cannot be silent. They must be denounced comprehensively not only by our community, but by broader American society and our local and national leadership.”

| Healing Our World: Environmentalism + Sustainability
the Den Collective
Join Federation partner the Den Collective as they launch a new learning and action series: Healing Our World. Each session will include the opportunity to come together for three different aspects. The first class will study the Jewish connections to a pressing contemporary issue (i.e.: environmentalism, racial justice, human rights, and more). The second and third class will explore the different ways to advocate and take action on the issue. All classes are in person and on Zoom.
