Along with so many in the East End, we celebrate the life of Mary Heilmann, who passed away Friday in Riverhead at the age of 86. Her bold and thoughtful artwork cements her lasting legacy, and we thank her for her inspiration as an artist and a friend.
A year after the HIFF 2023 World Premiere of MARY HEILMANN: WAVES, ROADS, AND HALLUCINATIONS, Matt Creed’s wonderful documentary on the life and career of the esteemed Hamptons artist, we were honored that Mary agreed to contribute her artwork for our HIFF 2024 poster (above.)
