Senate Bill 30, a bill that would reduce the number of Kentucky Medicaid MCO contracts to three, passed in the KY Senate. The bill still needs passing votes from a committee in the Kentucky House of Representatives and the chamber as a whole. Then it will either be signed into law or vetoed by Gov. Andy Beshear. At the same time, the deadline for RFP responses ended on Feb. 7 and MCO contracts are expected to be announced in April. GLMS will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
