Dang. May is finally here, am I right? It was a joy to gather together last week at our End-of-Year Division of Student Life Celebration Luncheon. Thank you once again for all of your hard work this year.
To carry on the joy, we’re highlighting all the pet parents in the division with a gallery of photos (and let’s be fur real, y’all work hard to give your pets the life they deserve). We hope you enjoy paw-rusing the photos as much as you enjoy this issue of Spotlight.

Summer Social – Wednesday, June 17, 12:15-1:30 p.m., Sportsball tournaments in the morning, table games, Vitek’s, fun, and fellowship. RSVP by June 8.

2v2 Pickleball – 9–10 a.m.
4v4 Volleyball – 9–10 a.m.
2v2 Cornhole – 10–10:30 a.m.
3v3 Basketball – 10:30–11:30 a.m. - Board games: 10:30 – 11:45 a.m.
- Nertz, deck of cards, uno, anomia, jenga, yahtzee, apples to apples, scattegories, taboo, phase 10, life-sized jenga, life-sized connect 4, basically anything from SIC, etc.
- Lunch: 12:15-1:30 p.m.

Epilogue Dinner – This semester, we honored 10 new graduates’ completion of the Certificate in Experiential Leadership at the Epilogue Dinner. This culminating event thought brought together graduates, their friends, mentors, or family, and many of our Student Life staff to celebrate the significant contributions and learnings of our student leaders as they prepare to Lead for the Common Good as they continue to fling their green and gold afar!
- Did you know all undergraduates are eligible to complete the Certificate in Experiential Leadership? If you know of students who would benefit from this program, please share this opportunity!
- ESLAC – Congratulations to all the student leaders, student employees, and advisors honored at last week’s Excellence in Student Leadership Awards. It was a wonderful evening reflecting on another incredible year in Student Life! Thank you to each committee member for coordinating a meaningful final experience for our students!
