| Kindness is Contagious! In findings sure to gladden the heart of anyone who’s ever wondered whether tiny acts of kindness have larger consequences, researchers have shown that kindness is contagious.
A recent Harvard University study published by the National Academy of Sciences determined that goodness spurs goodness. Indeed a single act of kindness can influence dozens more.
From emergency kindness boxes and kindness magic wands, to Ding Dong Ditching "For Good" and inspirational stick notes, our students and families are enthusiastically embracing our kindness journey. In the coming weeks, our classes will be brainstorming additional kindness missions, sharing inspirational stories and implementing their own acts of kindness.
Looking for some kindness missions for your family at home? Check out "Kindness Girl" Patience Salgado's Family Kindness Kit! Here is the link. " The Family Kindness Kit is a playful approach to kindness through stories, missions and activities for parents and kids of all ages. Discover what kindness your family is holding, what it wants to share with your community and how family love can change and care for our world!" As Cinderella once said: Where there is KINDNESS, there is GOODNESS. And where there is GOODNESS, there is MAGIC!"
Magic is happening at St. Michael's. And it is most certainly contagious!
