DDFRCS Alum Announced as New Head of Otolaryngology |
|

Join us in congratulating DDFRCS alum Sidharth Puram, MD, PhD, FACS for accepting his new role as Head of the Department of Otolaryngology and Lindburg Professor of Otolaryngology.
Puram has already accomplished so much in his career, whether receiving NIH funding, being elected to roles in international societies, or delivering important insights into tumor-intrinsic programs through his research. We look forward to following his ongoing success and how his leadership will advance the Department of Otolaryngology.

Clinical Investigation Bootcamp is a NEW 8 credit, 1-2 year program that allows students to gain knowledge in the core competencies of clinical research and investigation.

CRTC Program Director's Biotech Company Receives Financing to Support CAR-T Cell Therapy Study
|
We commend K12 Oncology Co-Director and Founder of Wugen, John DiPersio, MD, PhD for paving the way toward scalable, off-the shelf CAR-T cell therapies. Wugen, the biotechnology company he founded, is advancing the next generation of allogeneic, off-the-shelf CAR-T cell therapies and recently announced the closing of $115 million in equity financing. This funding will support their pivotal T-RRex study of WU-CART-007, which has the potential to become the first approved allogeneic CAR-T therapy for T-cell malignancies. Read more>>
