A growing number of pediatric and primary care clinics in Minnesota are using children’s books to improve health care and enhance child development.

The physicians believe they can have a positive and lasting impact on brain development during the critical first three years of a child’s life. That’s before many children go to day care or preschool — and a period when pediatricians have particular access.

For every pint, bottle and growler sold, $1 goes to Reach Out and Read Minnesota. Racing with Reach Out and Read Minnesota: Meet the runners!

Reach Out and Read Minnesota is excited to join Twin Cities in Motion as an official contributing charity partner of the Twin Cities Marathon and 10-Mile event on Sunday, October 7th.  We currently have 11 runners on our team, and we are thrilled they've decided to share their passion for our mission in this way.
