We see you!

We understand that while this may be an exciting time as we return to campus, you may be also feeling a lot of other feelings too.
At UIC, there are lots of resources to support you as your transition back to life back on campus or hybrid learning.
As always, we are here to help and support you. Stop by our office for a snack, a good conversation, or a quiet space to study.

Counseling Center

Individual Counseling Sessions: In individual therapy, you work one-on-one with a counselor to address your concerns. Our counselors are good listeners, they can be a source of support and understanding, and they will help you explore your options and develop effective strategies to cope with your concerns.
Therapy group Sessions: Join other students with shared experiences.
  • Student of Color Process Group:
  • Conquering Anxiety Group
  • Grief and Healing Group
  • Check out more groups here
Peer-led Support Groups: United Support Network is a community of UIC students coming together to support each other through life’s challenges and connect around life experiences! Through peer-led support groups and monthly social events, we help students build a sense of community on campus and support one another’s mental wellbeing— from the good to the challenging, and everything in between. Celebrating diversity of identity and mental wellbeing, we were created by UIC students, for UIC students.
