Executive Business Dinner
The Executive Business Dinner is an important annual event at UT Arlington, and an opportunity to connect a true master of the business world with students, alumni and our business community. This year, keynote speaker and College of Business alumna Jacqualyn A. Fouse, Ph.D., president of Global Hematology and Oncology at Celgene, spoke about globalization and the global economy.

More than 40 professionals attend Business Week 2015

During Business Week the College of Business invites business leaders from a variety of industries to connect with students and share their experiences and insight. This year, quests spoke on the topic of globalization in their industries and business.

Student Awarded Delta Sigma Pi honor
At the conference of South Central Provincial Leadership Excellence Academy for Deltasigs, Paige Dunn became the first UTA student to be named Provincial Collegian of the Year. Dunn is president of the UTA chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, a coed business fraternity.
 
Study shows employees get angry when receiving emails after work
Management Professor Marcus Butts is the lead author on a study that shows people who receive electronic correspondence from work after hours become angry more often than not. The study was recently published in the Academy of Management Journal, and has received substantial recognition in the media.
Liliana Perez-Nordtvedt named Ford Mujer Legendaria
Ford Motor Company recognized the achievements of 20 legendary Latina women who are making a difference in the workplace, their homes, the environment, and the community. Dr. Perez-Nordtvedt, management associate professor, was selected to receive the honor in the Leadership category, among outstanding women entrepreneurs, CEOs, small business owners, or directors of non-profit organizations.
Fort Worth Business Press names top CFOs
Five UT Arlington business alumni were honored at the Fort Worth Business Press CFO of the Year Awards in February. Susan R. Drake, Kristi Hudson, Michael F. Morrison, Daniel G. Reynolds and Les Shuler were all recognized for contributions to their companies and the community.
