The College of Arts and Humanities has appointed Catherine Hughes as the new Executive Director of the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. A published researcher and former director of education and community engagement for the Palm Beach Opera, Hughes will assume her new role August 14.
- Faculty and staff from the Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine recently received a hands-on demonstration of state-of-the-art equipment to enhance clinical education and expand large animal medical care across the Upstate.

The Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost has called a general faculty meeting in accordance with Article 1§4 of the Constitution of the Faculty of Clemson University. The meeting is scheduled for August 18 in the Watt Family Innovation Center Auditorium, with presentations livestreamed on ClemsonTV.
