Casting a Vision Casting the Vision
Cultivating Excellence.
What if we could do more? What if we could open more doors to excellence? As a fellow community leader, we imagine you share our desire to continually set the bar higher. For Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana, this challenge has never been more relevant or urgently important.
For over six decades, we have been steadfast in our efforts to provide effective entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness programs for thousands of students. What worked yesterday will not be enough tomorrow, however. To cultivate leadership, retain emerging local talent and guarantee economic growth in our communities, we must gain a foothold far into the future with a failsafe model for creating opportunity.

Site selection just around the corner.
As we scale for a savvier generation and a new age in innovation, landing the right space to facilitate our vision is key. We are well on our way to selecting from two frontrunners—the downtown North River Property (adjacent to Science Central) and an ideal parcel of land at Wallen and Coldwater Roads. With a commitment to building a campus that will energize and inspire a new generation, we look forward to sharing our final site selection with you in the coming months.
New programs. Fresh purpose.
As we partner with subcontractors and explore potential in-kind gifts, we have begun to plan for an exciting new curriculum. The new campus will feature a Hall of Fame and “Invented Here” exhibit, highlighting notable local success stories through the years. Some exhibits will make use of augmented reality, the cutting-edge technology that merges computer-generated images into the actual environment.
Other prospective programs include Shark Tank-inspired competitions, a student-operated restaurant, an entrepreneurial-themed summer camp and much more.

Donors already stepping up.
We are thrilled to report a healthy start to this exciting new chapter. Exhibiting unwavering confidence in the campaign, English Bonter Mitchell Foundation has made an initial gift of $1,000,000. The Wilson Foundation has also made a sizeable contribution. Together, these gifts will support our relocation and the launch of the long-overdue Entrepreneurship Center.
You can make a difference!
