| School Holiday on Monday
A friendly reminder that St. Michael's will be CLOSED on Monday, February 15, for the Presidents' Day Holiday.

The Lenten Season
As an Episcopal School, St. Michael's feels it is appropriate to provide clarity around what this season means for the Episcopal tradition and encourage students and faculty alike to explore how it might fit within their own beliefs. Click HERE for information.
We will hold two special all-school virtual chapel services during Lent: Ash Wednesday (February 17) and a Holy Week Commemoration Service (March 31) led by led by Chaplain Christian Hansen and the Rev. Dr. Jeunée Godsey. Given COVID-safety protocols, unfortunately, we will not be administering ashes on Ash Wednesday this year.
Parents are invited to tune in this week for our virtual Ash Wednesday chapel service at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17.

| Please Charge MS Computers Nightly
Recently, many of our Middle School students are coming to class unprepared with uncharged laptops and/or no headphones.
Thank you for reminding your Middle Schoolers to charge computers nightly and to bring to school all needed school supplies and headphones.

Summer Camp Registration Launches March 1
St. Michael's is hard at work planning exciting summer camp offerings for Summer 2021!
We plan to offer both in-person AND virtual camps from June 21-August 6 for ages 4-14. Camp registration will open on MARCH 1. Stay tuned for details!
Please INVITE YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS to participate! You DO NOT need to be enrolled at St. Michael’s to enjoy Summer Camp at St. Michael's.

Auction Items: Will You Help?
We are excited about St M's upcoming Auction, presented virtually on Friday, March 26, at 7 p.m.
Parent donations are critical to the success of the auction. Can we count on your help?
- Would you be willing to put together a themed basket? (Think kids cooking or art or outdoor fun or family games? And for the adults, baskets/coolers of adult beverages, or special items for the home, or personal care. Don't forget the pets!)
- Would you be willing to partner with another family to contribute an auction adventure? (Think tickets to an Escape Room, RVA TukTuk, a James River raft trip, a pool party, a game day BBQ, a golf outing or passes to Top Golf or Drive Shack, fishing or boat excursions.)
- Support our RVA Restaurants by donating gift cards to local favorites.
- Do you have a vacation home or own a timeshare? Trips are a HUGE hit!

If someone in your family has symptoms, has been exposed, or is being tested for COVID-19, please inform the School IMMEDIATELY IN WRITING via the COVID-19 Reporting Form link below. The confidentiality of the diagnosed student or faculty member will be maintained.
For all health-related questions this year, please contact Nurse Shawnetta Maben at smaben@stmschool.net.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: If you submit your COVID reporting form after hours or on weekends, please keep your child HOME until you hear from Nurse Maben on the next school day.
