Happy New Year! I hope you had a fantastic holiday. We certainly let the good times roll up here at Adventurist HQ, and by “roll” mean “took the mountain bike for a spin and stopped in for a cup of holiday cheer.” It was an exciting 2017. 2018 promises even more thrills, chills and spectacular scenery up in Transylvania County, and that’s just the waterfalls.

Tis the season of resolutions. If yours include making more adventure, seeing remarkable performances, finding great new art, learning about the natural world and taking a little time to get lost in your thoughts in a truly unforgettable place, consider adding “Visit Transylvania County” to your list. It won’t disappoint.

If you’re looking for a hopping place to ring in the New Year, you could do worse than join the party people (and brewers extraordinaire) over at Oskar Blues for this awesome anniversary event. Southern Culture on the Skids, Jonny Fritz and Pretty Little Goat headline this New Year’s spectacular. The Oskar Blues CHUBwagon will be onsite cooking up a delicious array of snacks. And, of course, you can toast midnight with a full selection of Oskar Blues brews. A shuttle will be available to select local accommodations.
