Dear Friends,
What an amazing week at FSW!
On Monday, faculty returned and we spent the week immersed in relationship building, curriculum sequencing and planning, CPR training, DEIJB workshops, and Quakerism.
On Thursday night we welcomed our new families to FSW at the Longleaf Center. We ate pizza, played games, and heard from Sarah and Chelsea, our wonderful Co-Clerks of our Parent Association. Despite the threat of rain, and the distant rumble of thunder, many of our 37 new families attended. It heightened the excitement of the faculty and staff, realizing that we all will be back in a matter of a few days.
Please enjoy this final weekend of vacation. For many, like my family, it means children returning to College campuses, and for me at least it never gets any easier.
I am so very excited for next week. Please continue to reach out to say hello as I hope to interact with everyone in the coming weeks.
In Peace,
Tony McCudden

Welcome New Students & Families! |
As we welcome the beginning of a new school year, we want to extend a very special welcome to our new students and their families joining the FSW community. We gathered yesterday at Longleaf Center for a joyous (and yes, very muggy) pizza party. For both new and returning families, thank you for entrusting us with the care and education of your children. It is our deepest honor to guide them in their learning journey.
