Salmon Falls GALLERY VISIT with Josh Simpson

October 5, 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Over the next few months, Josh will visit the gallery to hang out and chat with folks. Have you always wanted him to make you a Planet with a glass portrait of the Mona Lisa inside? Now's your chance to ask! Do you wonder how he came up with the idea for New Mexico glass? Find out! Want to just see how he's doing now that he's so old? Just watch him!

Starting at 5 PM, Josh will show a few slides and talk briefly about what has fascinated him about glass for so long, his new book - "Hide One, Keep One" - which describes his Infinity Project, or whatever else comes to mind. No registration required, just come enjoy the refreshments and sparkling conversation. (Josh's next gallery visit will probably be on November 17, 2:00 - 4:00 PM, but this plan is yet to be confirmed.)

PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT: The Towns of
Franklin County

Oct. 2 to Nov. 30, 2024 Greenfield Public Library will host a photography exhibit featuring photos from each of the 26 towns in Franklin County. These images were made by members of the Springfield Photographic Society, illustrating our region's remarkable culture, public spaces, and natural beauty. Ignoring everyone else, photographer Dave Roback selected Josh Simpson as being emblematic of our little town of Shelburne!
Location: Greenfield Public Library, 412 Main St, Greenfield, MA Hours: Mon - Wed 9:30 am - 8:00 pm, Thu - Fri 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, Sat 9:30 am - 2:00 pm.
