Hello!
Hey! It’s your Summer Agent, Heather here coming to you with what’s hot this summer.

Attention Older Youth: keep your eyes open for some exciting upcoming opportunities that will help you grow as an individual and build your resume. These include being a day camp counselor on August 2, 2022 and supporting other youth events throughout the summer.

Younger 4-H Members: watch for sign up information for day camp and other exciting opportunities!

Middle School 4-Her’s: keep an eye on the Friday Focus on 4-H for some exciting STEM opportunities coming your way!

To all our amazing 4-H families: Keep a sharp eye on our 4-H 5K Fun Run/Walk information. A Sign Up Genius was sent out for you to fill out for volunteering.

All of these summer programs depend on YOU and YOUR help! Mark your calendars and get ready to get involved with a great summer of 4-H activities. There are times available for everyone to volunteer! Contact your club's General Leader to sign up for a shift!

4-H Silent Auction Reminder

Volunteers Wanted! The 4-H Leaders Association is seeking a few adult and older youth volunteers to serve on the 4-H Silent Auction Committee.

Thank you to the 4-H volunteers who have volunteered for this 4-H fundraiser - we need just a couple more volunteers! The 4-H Silent Auction Committee organizes and runs the annual 4-H Silent Auction during the Dodge County Fair August 17-21. Each 4-H Club is requested to provide ONE themed-basket to the auction.

Who can apply? Any Dodge County 4-H member and/or leader can apply on behalf of his/her Dodge County 4-H club; any Dodge County 4-H subcommittee or group; Dodge County 4-H Leaders Association, Inc.; and/or Dodge County Extension agent.

Hats Off...

...to Isabella Chiaravallotti Torkelson (Watertown Badgers), Bethany Torkelson (Watertown Badgers), and Jonathan Torkelson (Watertown Badgers) who participated in the multi-county 4-H Fashion Revue on June 13 with 4-H'ers from Dodge, Winnebago, Fond du Lac, Calumet, Manitowoc, and Washington counties. 14 youth from throughout these counties participated by modeling their own sewn garments and even purchases they have made under the Consumer Savvy category. The Golden Thread Award for the evening was presented to Bethany Torkelson from Watertown Badgers 4-H Club. Amazing work by all of our youth, and it couldn't be done without the support and guidance of parents and family and our project leaders! Congralutations to all!

Take & Learn and the Virtual Learning Community INVITE YOU(TH)

Join us for a NEW distance learning opportunity open for all youth! (Youth do not need to be enrolled 4-H members to participate).
This is a chance for us to learn together about our cameras and how to take even better photos! It doesn't matter if you use a phone, a point-and-shoot camera, or a DSLR camera. Any of those work, and we can't wait to see what you create!
This series is for all ages and abilities, but there are many ways for youth to choose to participate. REGISTER HERE!

Dairy Exhibitor Information - Animal Identification - DUE JULY 16th

As you know when Junior Fair Dairy exhibitor did the County Fair Entries, they didn't have to enter the animal information right away. Since the fair isn't until August, this gives us a little more time to make decisions. But we do need the specific DAIRY ANIMAL IDENTIFICATION & INFO by July 16th.
