Duke Community Standard & Event Policies

On August 27th, you received an email with a link to the Duke Community Standard website. Please take a moment to review it and stay informed. We’ve also streamlined our Events and Activities Policies page, to make the content more accessible and easier to follow for those planning events on campus.

2024 Election Resources

Election Day is November 5th! Are you registered to vote? You can register or update your voter registration at tabling events on campus. National Voter Registration Day is September 17th, and the deadline to vote in-person on Election Day in NC is October 11th. If you plan on voting in your home state, additional resources can be found here. Early voting runs from October 17th to November 2nd at Karsh Alumni and Visitors Center. You can also register to vote at early voting polling locations.

Before voting, make sure you have an acceptable photo ID. The physical DukeCard or Duke Student Voter ID, NC driver’s license, U.S. Passport, and others are accepted. Need a Duke voter ID? It's free! Visit Duke Votes for more info.

2024 Provost's Forum Simulcast

Due to overwhelming interest in the 2024 Provost’s Forum, registration is now closed. A live simulcast of the program will be shown in Page Auditorium for members of the Duke community, who are welcome to stop by anytime during the event on Monday, September 16. No registration is required. Please see the agenda for session details.
