Fall semester begins Monday, August 17!
We have gathered some of the most frequently asked questions during the first week of the semester. We hope this helps as you navigate Irvine Valley College this fall!

IS PARKING FREE DURING THE FIRST WEEK? |
No. Valid parking permits will be required starting Monday, August 17.
Keep in mind, vehicles must be parked nose first in parking stalls. Backing into parking spaces is not permitted.

WHERE CAN I GO IF I NEED HELP FINDING MY CLASSROOM? |
During the first week of the semester, welcome booths will be set up across campus. Stop by if you need directions, have questions, or want to grab a quick snack.
Welcome booths will be available Monday through Thursday,
8 am to 7 pm, and Friday, 8 am to 2 pm.

CAN I STILL ENROLL IN CLASSES? |
Yes, you can! You can still enroll in open courses this semester.
If you are interested, check out the class schedule and contact the professor for more details.

WHERE CAN I FIND FOOD ON CAMPUS? |
Food and beverage options are available on campus throughout the week. Stop by the Laser Café for breakfast, lunch, and student favorites, or visit the Patio Café for coffee, lattes, matcha, cold brew, smoothies, and pastries.

WHERE CAN I GET MY STUDENT ID? |
Student ID cards can be obtained from Campus Police in S4 (CP 100).
Campus Police Office Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 am – 5 pm
Friday: 7:30 am – 3 pm
During the first two weeks, you can also get your student ID card at the Campus Police satellite office inside the SSC building.
Campus Police Office Hours at SSC Building:
Monday – Friday: 8 am – 2:30 pm
Student ID cards are provided free of charge to current Irvine Valley College students. Student IDs are used for various campus tasks, such as redeeming Promise program bookstore vouchers, printing and copying, accessing library resources, and completing laboratory and classroom activities.

Bike racks are located throughout campus.
