Graduation week is packed full of events and opportunities to celebrate you – the Class of 2024! Please review the information below for important details and reminders about participating in graduation events.
Convocation Student Speaker Contest
Do you have an inspiring message to share about your experience at Harvard Chan and about your vision for public health? One graduating student will be chosen to deliver a speech at the the Harvard Chan Convocation Ceremony on May 22. Graduating students also have the opportunity to deliver a speech to the wider Harvard community at the Harvard University Commencement Morning Exercises on May 23.
For guidelines and submission instructions, visit the Student Speaker Contest website. The deadline to submit your speech for each opportunity is Friday, March 22.
Participate in the Reading of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights
To represent our global community, we are seeking 12-14 graduating Harvard Chan students to read the preamble of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights in their home languages for a video that will be played at Convocation 2024. We invite you to express interest and share your availability for a filming session. Note that we may not be able to accommodate all students who volunteer to participate.
Ceremony Registration and Guest Ticket Website
The ceremony registration website for Convocation and Commencement will now open on March 19. Please note that this date has been revised from our previously announced schedule. This website serves as your gateway to participation in the ceremonies, allowing you to register and request guest tickets for these graduation ceremonies.
