Undergraduate Research Symposium

We are excited to announce that the Fall 2022 Undergraduate Research Symposium is now open for applications! The Symposium provides you with a platform to exhibit your research achievements to the NYU Shanghai community. We welcome capstone projects, DURF projects, research projects from courses, Dean’s Service Scholars (DSS), Study Away programs, and other research done with faculty guidance at NYU Shanghai. Individual and Small-Group Tutoring Sessions

The Academic Resource Center's Learning Assistants provide tutoring sessions for a variety of courses, including Math, Computer Science, Sciences, Business, Economics, Interactive Media Arts, and Chinese Language courses. Place Your Textbook Orders by this Friday!

Distribution Sessions: Monday-Friday, 11 AM-1 PM & 4-5 PM | Room 1510
Check out the textbook policy and instructions!

You can still place orders or submit verification requests for required textbooks until September 23 and go to the distribution sessions for physical textbook pick-up and textbook verification. Electronic books/coursepacks will be distributed through email within 7 business days. Contact shanghai.textbooks@nyu.edu with questions.

Dean’s Service Scholars: Language & Power

The course will be offered during 2nd 7 weeks of fall and 1st 7 weeks of spring.

Service learning courses offer you unique opportunities where academic learning and community service compliment each other. In ENGD-SHU 101A Language & Power, you will gain hands-on experiences teaching English to migrant children through NGO Stepping Stones. Professor Marcel Daniels will guide your exploration on topics from linguistic imperialism, English as a lingua franca, to the rise of global Englishes!

Oral History Summer Apprenticeship Showcase
