| Honoring World Series MVP Bob Gibson |
We commemorate the 60th anniversary of Bob Gibson’s first World Series MVP by chronicling all of the “Bob Gibson Day” celebrations we could find. Gibson was so dominant on the field that the only reasonable response to his brilliance was to throw him parades, name him honorary governor, gift him a mobile home and arrange for a congratulatory telegram from the President.
