Faculty Spotlight - Teri Grimmer
Teri Grimmer is an Executive in Residence at UP’s Pamplin School of Business Administration. She is a Certified Public Accountant, holding active licenses in California, Oregon and Montana, as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
Professor Grimmer has taught at UP since 2010, teaching undergraduate courses including: financial accounting, managerial accounting, intermediate accounting I, II, and audit, as well as principles of accounting at the graduate level.
She has had various financial positions for the past 14 years, working as a financial consultant specializing in the health care industry. She has served as a member of the United Way allocations committee and currently is a member of the Oregon Society of CPA’s, the American Institute of CPA’s and the American Accounting Association. Teri earned her B.A in Business Administration and M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Montana (Missoula).
Teri is loved by her students - we wanted to highlight a testimonial:
"Professor Grimmer managed to bring enthusiasm and entertainment to a discipline that can be overwhelmingly dull.  Not only did she actually kindle interest in examining financial statements, but she even inspired some of my letters to congress.  She is tremendous." ~Liz Milan, MBA candidate 2016-18
