The award is the highest honor the Alumni Association can bestow upon an alumnus or alumna. It is given to former students who have devoted their lives to professionalism and public service and have also demonstrated a lifelong dedication to the University. Nominations for the award are due by July 31.

To prepare for the upcoming summer demolition of Johnstone Hall, Harcombe Dining Hall and the Union, oversized semi-trailer trucks will deliver heavy construction equipment to the work site for several hours on Tuesday, May 28. The trucks will travel through Williamson Road, Heisman Street and Klugh Avenue. Please use caution while in the area.

The seminar will provide guidance and resources available to staff through the Launchpad and cover business basics such as creating plans and navigating the business climate. The seminar will take place on Thursday, June 20, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the University Facilities Center.

The Pickens County Voter Registration and Elections Office seeks volunteers to help work the polls for the upcoming state primaries in South Carolina on June 11 and 25. Applying and participating in training are required steps. Completed applications may be mailed in, dropped by the office at the county administration building or scanned and emailed to vrpickens@co.pickens.sc.us.
