In line with New York's event guidance, the campus event protocol related to large indoor events requiring proof of vaccination or negative test for off campus attendees has been updated:
If the attendance of an indoor event is anticipated to be more than 500 people and includes off-campus attendees, the event organizer(s) must reach out to the COVID Response Team for risk assessment and determination on whether proof of vaccine/negative test will be required. Events with an anticipated attendance of less than 500 people are not required to ask for provide proof of vaccine/negative test.
This guidance will be routinely reviewed and remains subject to change at any time in response to national, state, and local pandemic-related data, regulations, and risk assessment.
