Reminder: Resident Sentiment Survey Closes Feb. 1 

Thank you to our industry partners and those in our networks who have completed and shared the Resident Sentiment surveyWith your assistance and efforts, we hope to collect enough responses to report findings at the county level, with the ability to drill down to smaller geographic areas as needed. Partial results will be presented at the Governor’s Conference on Tourism in March and full results will be available in April on the industry site.
Below we have provided various ways you can promote our Resident Sentiment survey which will be live through February 1, 2024.
  • Share the survey with your consumer and staff email lists this week. See attachment that contains a sample invitation you can copy and paste into an email. If possible, please send a reminder email the week of January 22.
  • Visit or share the industry landing page for more details.
  • Post the survey on your organization’s social media. Here is a sample post:

In partnership with Travel Oregon, we want to hear your perspective on tourism across the state as we work to improve the lives of all Oregonians. Complete a short, anonymous survey from Travel Oregon by February 1, 2024 and be entered to win up to $1,000 in Amazon gift cards. Your valuable feedback will be used to help encourage responsible travel practices and could shape the future of tourism in your community.

      Register for the 2024 Oregon Governor's Conference on Tourism

      In case you missed it, registration has opened for the Oregon Governor's Conference on Tourism, happening in Salem, March 11-13.
      A $400 early-bird registration fee is available through January 31 after which it will increase to $450. Register here to secure your spot.
      The hotel blocks have largely sold out but lodging is still available in the area. Please review the lodging page for the most up-to-date information.

          The Oregon Trails Coalition is hosting an informational webinar about recreational immunity in Oregon, Jan. 30 at 12 p.m. Join the webinar to hear panelists from Oregon Parks & Recreation Department, Metro Parks & Nature, and others to better understand the law, where and when it applies and solutions to current challenges. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session.
