This year’s theme is “It’s Personal: Meeting the Needs of Every Student.”

“Othello” to Play This Weekend in Lawton Plaza, Playa Vista

The inaugural run of Shakespeare on the Bluff by the Theatre Arts Department continues this weekend with “Othello,” to be staged in Lawton Plaza as well as in Playa Vista. The performers are professional actors as well as LMU alumni, faculty and current students. All performances are free, family-friendly and open to the community. READ MORE

LMU's Playa Vista Campus to Host L.A. Film Festival Experience

SFTV has partnered with the L.A. Film Festival on a specially curated portion of the festival focusing on virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality, to be hosted at LMU’s new Playa Vista Campus. The inaugural Shakespeare on the Bluff festival concludes with performances of “Othello,” to be staged in LMU's Lawton Plaza on July 27 and in Playa Vista on July 28. All performances are free and open to the community and will be 90 minutes long. MORE

Srivatsa Ramaswami presents his master’s teachings at the annual Vinyasa Krama Yoga Summer Institute. This annual institute is open to the public, and meets on the LMU campus. Registration for both classes taught by Srivatsa Ramaswami is available online: Samkhya Karika and Yoga Sutras. MORE
