Thursday: Post-Election Space
Hopkins Votes will be hosting a space for students to gather and unwind in community beginning today tomorrow at 6 p.m. in Levering's Great Hall. There will be food, activities, and time to connect and decompress. RSVP in Hopkins Groups.
Registration for spring classes
Registration for Spring 2025 classes opens on the following dates at 7 a.m.; continuous registration will be available through January 31, 2025 at 12 p.m. noon.

Belonging Brunches, Crafternoons, and You Belong Socials
Every Wednesday, the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life will be hosting Belonging Brunches in the Bunting-Meyerhoff Interfaith Center (3509 N. Charles St.). Stop by from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. for free brunch and the opportunity to chat with the chaplains and fellow students. And on Thursdays from 3–6 p.m. RSL hosts Crafternoons at the Interfaith Center, where you can draw, crochet, make jewelery, and more. Also on Thursdays, the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (3003 N. Charles St., Suite 100) hosts You Belong Socials from 3:30–5 p.m. These are a great opportunity to meet the CDI team, enjoy some snacks, and spend time in community with other students.

National First-Generation College Student Day is a nationwide acknowledgement of those scholars who are the first in their families to pursue higher education. Here at Hopkins, we have joined in celebrating FLI Day every November to show our appreciation and support for our first-generation and limited-income students as well as our "FLI Proud" faculty, staff, and alumni.
Join us for this year's celebration this Friday, November 8, from 12–2 p.m. on Keyser Quad. It's sure to be a fun afternoon of community, art, activities, and more! Then, the celebration continues this weekend with the FLI Alumni Jazz Brunch on Saturday, November 9 and the FLI Day of Service on Sunday, November 10.

Upcoming academic deadlines
November 11 at 4:30 p.m. is the deadline to drop a class in Term 2. The deadline to withdraw from a SOUL class is November 12 at 4:30 p.m. Contact SEAM for any registration questions.
Coming soon: CSS Saturdays
Looking to polish up your study skills as finals approach? Interested in some subject-specific tutoring support? Join the Center for Student Success for CSS Saturdays: Study with a Tutor. These sessions offer all students the chance to study with both community and academic support. Whether you're tackling chemistry, physics, calculus, computer science, or just need general study help, Learning Den tutors and study consultants will be on hand to assist. Come by the CSS on November 16, December 7, and December 14 between 12–4 p.m. and enjoy some snacks and pizza while you work.

Veteran's Day is November 11
JHU will be hosting a special program in honor of military veterans on Monday, November 11 from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in the Glass Pavilion. The event will feature speakers, including a keynote address by Admiral Gary Roughead, and lunch provided by Mission BBQ. You can register online to attend; a virtual option is also available.
Explore your options for living off campus
Join Off-Campus Housing for a meet and greet with representatives from nearby properties and explore your options for housing for the 2025–26 academic year! The Culture Kitchen from Hopkins Dining
This month, Hopkins Dining's The Culture Kitchen is featuring dal makhani and garlic naan, an Indian dish originating in Delhi, at Mosaic Global Kitchens in Levering Kitchens. Check out the specials and more information on Hopkins Groups.
New and improved gathering spaces
You may have noticed some improved furniture and fixtures around campus! You can now gather at tables (with umbrellas for shade!) in the Homewood Annex (3003 N Charles Street). Umbrellas have also been added to Levering Courtyard and the Garland Hall patio, and there's new, modern furniture in the Levering Hall lobby.
Hopkins Student Center chairs on display at Nolan's and MSE Library Annex
Visit Nolan's on 33rd and the MSE Library Annex to preview some of the seating options that will be in the Hopkins Student Center. The chairs in Nolan's will be in place through this Thursday, and the the chairs in the Annex will be on display through Monday. You can also vote for your favorite!

Last flu vaccine clinic before the November 15 deadline
Undergraduates are required to upload proof of flu vaccination by November 15. If you haven't already, get your flu vaccine at the last on-campus walk-in clinic of the year next Monday, November 11 between 9 a.m.–5 p.m. in Shriver Hall's Clipper Room.

Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the amazing organizations under the Multicultural Leadership Council at their annual Culture Fest celebration! Basketball season tips off in November
