A series of events will be taking place this week to celebrate Juneteenth?
The United to Promote Cultural Awareness and Downtown Student Engagement have planned out events and released a special video this week to commemorate Juneteenth.

Juneteenth Cook Out

On June 19, African Americans celebrate Juneteenth as the official independence day of enslaved people in American. Come celebrate the occasion with Downtown Student Engagement with food, music and games from the culture and learn the importance of the holiday. This event will be held outside of CMB. Celebrating Black Women's Brilliance - A Juneteenth Celebration
Friday, June 18, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Join UCF Assistant Professor Dr. Larry Walker for a virtual conversation, Celebrating Black Women's Brilliance, featuring UCF Vice Provost and Dean Dr. Berry, FAMU College of Law Dean Keller and Founder of New Image Youth Center Dr. Barton-Stubbs.
