It's a Basic Needs Birthday Block Party! |
|
|
We hope you're finding time to rest and recharge this Spring Break. It's important to take time to complete our stress cycles to prevent chronic stress and burnout.
Consider these nine different ways to release physiological tension and identify one to try out when you notice stress rising:
|
- Moving Your Body
- Sleeping
- Breathing
- Engaging in positive social interaction
- Showing affection
- Laughing
- Crying
- Expressing yourself creatively
- Engaging your imagination
|
In the March edition of the Wellness Digest, we're highlighting several opportunities where you can engage in positive social interactions and bolster the resources you need to succeed as we close out this semester.
For starters, it's time to party with a purpose! Save the date for our upcoming Basic Needs Collective Birthday Party, where we're celebrating block party style with all our favorite student resource offices.
Stop by Tanner Plaza (between the Union and the Student Services Building) on April 14th for pizza, cupcakes, activities, and learn about campus and community resources that can help you thrive.
