A Soccer Filled Summer
This summer, HWS community members were instrumental at the Goals Galore Soccer School. Led by Shawn Griffin, Hobart head soccer coach and owner of the Goals Galore Soccer School, the coaching staff included HWS Athletics and Sports Medicine staff, William Smith soccer players, faculty and siblings, children and spouses of HWS employees and students.

Benefit Spotlight: Behavioral Health Resources |
MDLive is a 24/7 telehealth platform providing virtual medical and mental health services for non-emergency conditions offered to HWS’ medical plan users. Users can access board-certified doctors and licensed therapists via video or phone for urgent care, primary care, dermatology and mental health support. MDLIVE offers a convenient, low-cost alternative to in-person visits, with the ability to send prescriptions to your local pharmacy. Eligible members can register for MDLIVE the following ways – Online, Text, Call, or using the MDLIVE app.

| Upcoming Learning Opportunity: Tuition Benefits Information Session
HR will host an information session on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 4 - 4:30 p.m. in our office (451 Pulteney) to provide an overview of HWS’ tuition benefits.
Employees with individual questions regarding their specific situation are encouraged to schedule a "Tuition Assistance Mini Session" with Assistant Director of HR and Payroll Morgan Dianetti, who has individual meetings available between 10/16 and 10/24.

PeopleSoft Spotlight: Compensation History and Emergency Contacts |
New Employee Self Service Feature: Employees can now view their compensation history in PeopleSoft by clicking on the “Compensation History” tile.

Annually, employees should review and update their emergency contacts. Access your emergency contacts and address information through the “Personal Details” PeopleSoft tile.

Flu/Covid Clinics: 10/9: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Vandervort Room
Flu/Covid Clinics: 10/16: 10 a.m to 2 p.m. – Bartlett Theatre

Upcoming – Open Enrollment for 2026 |
HWS’ benefits Open Enrollment period will take place this fall. All employees will receive information via email and physical mail about Open Enrollment. Outside of an IRS-designated Qualifying Life Event, Open Enrollment is the only time during the year where employees can sign up for benefits, make changes to their benefits or cancel benefit coverage.
Employees are strongly encouraged to review all Open Enrollment information and participate in the Open Enrollment period.
