See What's New at c21!

c21's spring buzz includes new hires, social outings and exciting projects. With a dynamic team and memorable moments ahead, this season promises to be a success.

New Faces Around the Office (and Familiar Ones too)

Spring has arrived at c21 and we are excited to welcome two new members to our team!

We are thrilled to welcome Carter Brown back to c21 as Director and Shayla Strange as our newest Senior Account Manager.

Before his role as Director, Carter began his journey with c21 as a volunteer coordinator for the Atlanta Jazz Festival in 2017, followed by an internship with c21 in the summer of 2018. After finishing school later that fall, he started full-time as an Account Manager and quickly advanced to Senior Account Manager. Following his initial time at c21, Carter became Director of Marketing at Plae. After successfully conquering the corporate world, Carter longed for agency life and we welcomed him back with open arms!

Shayla brings with her a wealth of experience in communications and marketing, having worked at organizations such as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Cox Media Group, and she is the COO of Led a Better Way Foundation, an organization that provides housing assistance and supports youth empowerment through various STEM programs, sports activities, financial literacy classes and mental health awareness.

c21 is rocking one powerhouse team, and we couldn’t be more excited for the future!

Birthdays Galore

In the months of March and April, the c21 team got together to celebrate the birthdays of our beloved CEO, Sharon Goldmacher, and our amazing account manager, Emma Smith, respectively. Since Sharon loves competition, we went to Fowling Warehouse, a popular venue on the Westside that offers a unique combination of football and bowling. Although some of us were more skilled than others, we all had a great time (and HUGE shout out to Sydney who managed to score the ultimate first shot – winning a free app, a beer and the loudest trainwhistle blow ever!).

Emma also had her special day with treats and goodies and some exciting gifts from a special someone – all of which brought a big smile to her face (as well as a new Taylor Swift album to sweeten her special day).

Overall, it was a joyous month full of celebrations and happy moments for the c21 team.

Gateway85 CID Hosted the Signature Georgia Entertainment 100

The Signature Georgia Entertainment 100 event held at Eagle Rock Studios in Gwinnett was an overwhelming success.

This invite-only event was a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a select group of attendees, including more than 500 business owners, directors, producers, studio executives, government officials and elected representatives to network with some of the state's leading industry influencers. The event was organized by Georgia Entertainment News with the support of our dynamic c21 team, Gateway85 CID and Explore Gwinnett and was designed to highlight Georgia's Creative Economy in Gwinnett County, which has become a hub for the state’s entertainment industry.

It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved to learn, connect and explore new opportunities in the entertainment industry.

c21 Welcomes IW Group for a Memorable Visit

The c21 office was abuzz with 30 students from across the U.S. on a company tour organized by the IW Group, a marketing and communications firm that focuses on reaching the multicultural market in the United States.
The founder of IW Group, Bill Imada, has formed the National Millennial Community, a group of millennial thinkers who travel the world to inspire younger generations with networking opportunities.

As part of our commitment to supporting the next generation of marketers and publicists, we chatted with these aspiring young professionals about agency life, social media, media relations, event planning and more.

We're excited to see these talented students excel in the PR industry, and who knows, maybe even join our team in the future.

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Recognized Statewide

The c21 team organized a campaign on behalf of and Marsy's Law for Georgia last month to show support for National Crime Victims' Rights Week.

National Crime Victim's Rights Week is a yearly event aimed at supporting and recognizing victims of crime. From April 21 – 27 this year, c21 secured a variety of landmarks across the state, including the Georgia World Congress Center, the King & Spalding building, the 100 Peachtree (Google) Building, Mercer University, Gateway85 CID's pedestrian bridge on Jimmy Carter Boulevard, the King & Queen Buildings and the Whitfield County Courthouse in Dalton, Georgia, to participate by lighting up purple to show their support and advocacy for crime victims.

The support provided by these organizations is commendable and sends a strong message of solidarity to those impacted by crime and their families.

Task Force for Global Health Celebrated Its 40th Anniversary

c21 had the great honor to plan and execute The Task Force for Global Health’s 40th anniversary celebration!
The Task Force is dedicated to eliminating diseases that have been plaguing humankind for centuries. It aims to safeguard the health of everyone globally by strengthening health systems.
We had the privilege to witness the positive impact of the Task Force's work and the tireless efforts of its team members. We are proud to have contributed to this significant milestone.
