To the Nashville Wine Auction community, I wanted to take this chance to thank you so much for your generous support of our recent Pairings events, Lucky No 13, All Corks are Off! Each of the events was a unique chance to mingle with vintners and friends and enjoy some amazing food and wine. Your robust participation in our silent and live auction lots helped us successfully raise just over $1 million dollars to help support local cancer charities. This money really does make a difference right here in our community helping support patients and families as they navigate the challenges of undergoing treatment as well as helping support innovative research that will improve the lives of children with thyroid cancer and bone marrow failure.

As a pediatric oncologist, I have seen firsthand my patients benefiting from the work of beneficiaries such as HopeKids and Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, making their lives a bit brighter during their fight against cancer. I hope to see you at some of the amazing dinners and tastings that we “won” at the auction, and look forward to more opportunities to help fund the fight against cancer at our l’Eté du Vin events in July.

We are thilled that Melka Estates will be our Guest of Honor this year for the 46th Annual l’EtĂ© du Vin. As co-proprietors and winemakers, Philippe and Cherie produce four distinct brands that reflect their philosophy of soil driven wines.Â
"Given that we have been at this for 30 years, we intend to show wines [at l'Eté du Vin] that are not only current releases but also have some age on them. We want people to remember how age-worthy they are and that they are also meant to be enjoyed, consumed, and shared with family and friends."

Thanks to you, our wine loving community, we raised more than $1M for the fight against cancer! These funds will support our beneficiaries researching cancer and providing crucial services to those faced with a cancer diagnosis.
“Pairings is our favorite weekend of the year in Nashville. The combination of generous donors and bidders, excellent wines, and friendships new and old is truly unbeatable,” Co-Chairs Amy and Brannan Atkinson say. “We want to thank all the people who made it possible to raise more than $1 million, we know this will positively change the lives of many local people affected by cancer. We are proud to have been part of this incredible series of events, the best of its kind in the entire country.”
