Good morning! Clemson welcomes new and returning students this week for Move-in. A staff member reflects on her experiences in the CU Grow program; The Your Clemson student newsletter resumes its twice-weekly schedule.

What to know today:

Clemson welcomes new and returning students to the main campus residential communities from today through Saturday, August 15. Move-in activities may impact parking and traffic for faculty and staff across main campus.

NEWS AND UPDATES

Applications for the 2027 CU Grow cohort are open until September 30.
Rooksie Noorai (center, arms crossed), a previous participant, reflects on her experiences and how they helped shape her role moving forward.

Brandon Lockhart, Ph.D., has been named chair of the Department of Finance. Lockhart joined Clemson in 2013 and has held several leadership roles in the Department, including associate chair.

The 10th annual Creative Inquiry and Undergraduate Research Showcase takes place next Tuesday, August 18, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Showcase is seeking volunteers to judge posters at the event. Interested participants can sign up through the judge registration form.
