Oregon Road Rally Returns

Thanks to successful and collaborative partnerships throughout the state, the Great Oregon Road Rally is back for its second year. This year, Oregon will host 34 tour operators from 10 countries who are ready to explore the state on a seven-day trek (April 2-8) that showcases each region. The Oregon Road Rally inspires tour operators seeking new trip ideas, or looking to add to existing bookable itineraries for potential visitors to purchase. Keep an eye out for these road warriors who will be driving in specially marked "Road Rally" cars. This year’s tour will take them from Portland through the Columbia River Gorge, into Eastern Oregon for a day at the Painted Hills, with an overnight in Central Oregon. From there, the group will experience Crater Lake, Klamath Falls and visit TrackTown USA in Eugene. The final days will be spent on the Oregon coast with an overnight stay in Newport. The whirlwind tour will wrap-up with a wine country or Highway 101 drive back to Portland for their final night. We encourage you to follow the trip on Instagram: @OregonRoadRally and #OregonRoadRally. Check out highlights from last year's Road Rally below.

The Winding Road

In its March issue, Oregon Business Magazine takes a closer look at the Historic Columbia River Highway and how its centennial anniversary (and the new connectivity it is again bringing to the many communities that dot the Columbia River Gorge) is a reason for Oregonians to celebrate.
