The February Calumet 4-H Meeting was an adventure for senior 4-H'ers to Cloverbuds.

Teen Leaders Association

The TLA  recreational outing to cross-county ski at Ledge View Nature Center has been cancelled due to icy trails. 
The next meeting will be Monday, February 28 at 7:00 pm at Rolling Meadows and via Zoom.  At the meeting, the youth will plan out dates for upcoming recreation and community service. Youth will also share about how Family Learning Day went.  
Any members who are currently in 7th grade and above can join TLA. Youth are welcome to join via Zoom if they do not have transportation to the meeting. Please contact Tina Engelhardt for Zoom information.

Fond du Lac County 4-H LEGO Club Builds More Than Bricks

LEGO Club was featured in the Wisconsin 4-H news February 10th Edition. Youth leaders Noah and Makayla are featured in the article! 
Fond du Lac County 4-H LEGO Club was born when 4-H Program Educator, Tracy Keifenheim, discovered a few clubs across the state and reached out to a youth leader about helping start the club. Noah H, FDL Co 4-H Youth Leader, jumped at the opportunity to help form the club and invited youth leader, Makayla S, to help.

Annual Tri-County Visual Arts Festival

Everybody has a skill, a talent, an interest, or a special quality that they are passionate about. We call these things SPARKS. They provide joy, purpose, and direction. You guessed it, this year's theme is "Find your SPARKS!" Draw, paint, photograph, or create art that brings you joy, purpose, and passion!  
Scan/photograph your artwork and use this official entry form to submit your entry. Please complete a separate form for each piece of artwork that you submit. All entries must be submitted by Sunday, March 6 by 11:59 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for each category.

Fur, Fin, Feather: Teaching Show

Youth are invited to participate in our upcoming Fur, Fin, Feather: Teaching Show, slated for Saturday, April 30th at the Barney Center in Sparta, WI. This show is unique in the aspect that it focuses on teaching and learning. It is open to Cloverbud-13th grade, however, Cloverbuds will be under some restrictions.

Calling All 4-H Youth & Adults - Volunteers Needed for 1st Annual Bean Bag Tournament

Anyone interested in helping plan the 1st Annual Bean Bag Tournament (to replace the previous Basketball Tournament), please join South Byron 4-H Club at their monthly 4-H meeting on Monday, March 7 at 7:15 pm, Trinity United Methodist Church, 300 Church St., Lomira. They plan on going through a list of things they could use help with. Ideas will also be shared. See you then!
The Bean Bag Tournament is being held Saturday, April 9 at Lomira High School. If you have questions, please reach out to Vicki Thomas at 920.517.3546.

Apply for a Club Grant

Mutual of Wausau Insurance Corporation has a 4-H Grant that is currently open for clubs to apply for: https://mutualofwausau.com/community-involvement/.

The 4-H Club Grant was initiated to support 4-H Clubs in youth development and to promote civic and leadership responsibilities. The deadline for this grant is April 1, 2022. *4-H is not affiliated with Mutual of Wausau Insurance Corporation.
